Operator and scope
SEM Lab, Inc. provides technical reference material, preliminary analysis tools, and focused remote interpretation of submitted evidence. Contact Ed Hare at ehare@semlab.com about scope, purchases, or access. The service provides interpretation of submitted evidence; physical laboratory work is outside the offering.
No refunds
NO REFUNDS. Purchases of papers, membership, tool runs, and consulting are final. Review the product description, input requirements, scope, and usage terms before paying. Contact SEM Lab about a payment, delivery, or access problem. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Membership reading access
Membership provides browser reading access to included library material while access is active. Monthly access is 30 days and annual access is 365 days. Current checkout is a one-time payment for the selected period; it does not establish automatic recurring billing. Consulting and paid tool runs are separate.
No membership downloads are permitted. Do not download, save, copy, redistribute, or use automated tools to collect member material. Browser display does not grant permission to retain a copy. Do not share login links or allow another person to use your access. Discuss company or team access with SEM Lab before purchasing for multiple readers.
Individual paper purchases
A separate store purchase permits saving the purchased PDF and circulating it within the purchasing organization for internal engineering use. It does not permit public posting, resale, public redistribution, or automated bulk collection. These permissions apply to that purchased paper, not to other member material. Existing individually purchased-paper permissions are not reduced by the membership reading rule.
Tools and technical interpretation
Tool results are preliminary screening outputs subject to the stated input requirements, model assumptions, measurement uncertainty, and evidence limitations. They do not certify compliance or replace engineering judgment. Reference examples do not establish the cause of a different failure.
For consulting, SEM Lab confirms fit, scope, deliverable, timing, and payment before paid work. Additional questions or expanded scope are separate work unless expressly included. A submitted intake request is not an accepted engagement or guaranteed turnaround.
Submissions and confidentiality arrangements
Submit only material you are authorized to provide. Contact SEM Lab before sending evidence subject to an NDA, export restriction, or special handling requirement. Uploading a file does not establish acceptance of a proposed agreement. Discuss restrictions on AI tools or external services before submitting evidence. Website use
Do not bypass access controls, collect the library in bulk, share access credentials, or interfere with the service. Public summaries and reference images do not grant access to protected full reports. Contact SEM Lab for permission to reuse material beyond the stated internal-use rights.
